"Worse Customer Service & Care Ever! My wife and I have been 30+ Years with State Farm Insurance for almost all of our insurance needs. I filed a claim for an accident late last year, and supplied pictures of the accident where the Food Cart I was driving got tangled in a low power line and pulled the power box down to a business causing immediate power outage. I supplied invoices of the purchased materials to restore the damage. A week later they told me that was not enough. On my 2nd submission I provided actual bank statements highlighting in yellow the documentation for the purchases necessary to right the wrong. Again I was told this still is not good enough. I needed to provide actual receipts (invoices from each Company not good enough), and they wanted more pictures of the damages - and it is now months later. The 3rd submission - I wasn’t taking any chances, I laid out as many of the receipts, which took hours upon hours digging thorough old paperwork to get, and more pictures and I submitted them to my State Farm Agent expecting advocacy and support for a very clear and rightful claim with far above a preponderance of documentation and asked them to represent me to the National Claims Dept. They sent the new file - but I still had not heard anything for weeks - even after providing them EVERYTHING they demanded. Frustrated because I am shouldering the calls of irritated people who have been waiting about 5 months now to be reimbursed for their losses. Upset I called back to my State Farm Agent’s Office insisting they help follow up or inquire for me - their long-term client. They just patched me in to my National Claims Agent who wasn’t in. I left an emphatic message to my Claims Adjuster “PLEASE CALL ME!” That was 2 days ago and no call back. I called my State Farm Agent’s office again today and expressed my extreme displeasure with their service, claim protocol and was assured a Claims person would get back to me today. I just got a call from a highly trained conflict resolution person who obviously handles customer dissatisfaction and was then inundated with apologies and empathies - and at the end of all that she just tried to pass me off back to my same Claims Adjuster but while being shuffled they disconnected me and made no effort to call me back. I am embarrassed to have to submit such a poor review but after 5 months, 3 submission of clearly documented evidence which made me feel like I had to prove I wasn’t a fraudster, endless phone calls, lack of concern and poor customer care - I was forced to submit this horrible review for shoddy work that’s a reproach to the insurance industry. And the actual claim was for less than $5,000 Dollar!!"

"Loved meeting with Amanda yesterday! She was real and down to earth. Great personality and helped my husband and I feel heard. Our meeting was an educational one only but after speaking with her we are seriously considering getting more coverage added to our already existing coverage and also might get more coverage in other parts of our lives that she explained very clearly would basically pay for itself (after the discount.) Give or take a few dollars (like $2). We loved how cool you are Amanda please don't ever change! I'm really bad at reviewing but hope this helps bring more people in. Yes, state farm is a little pricier than other insurance companies but you definitely get what you pay for!"
